Nothing! No movie, no TV show can bring the excitement I felt when I saw, held and read that first Superman comic book published back “in the good old days.” Discovering this phenomenon in this little book was just the best thing ever!!! oday’s kids looking for excitement in all kinds of strange ways should experience that simple, awesome exhilaration.

I would ask that those requesting the new kill switch for stolen cell phones reconsider the way this will be used. I have often wondered why this didn’t already exist. According to news reports this will be activated by the owner when their cell phone is stolen. How many owners will be killed or severely beaten so the thief will be able to use the phone a little longer?
To the reader questioning why people do not send thank you notes, I can only say do as I do: No thank you for the shower gift, no wedding gift other than a card with nothing in it.

Indiana ranks 41 out of 50 states for college attainment. That is never going to change as long as our legislators take tax dollars away from public education to fund private education. We can’t afford to finance both. Let’s support the schools that take all children regardless of their intellect, wealth, religion, abilities or disabilities.
