If the Gary/Chicago International Airport board has been keeping good notes on the construction of the airport, they could be bound together and sold as a book titled “How Not to Build an Airport.” It may not make the best-seller list, but it certainly would be helpful to the folks in Illinois that are set to build an airport in Peotone.
Well guess what, Portage. I don’t have time or desire to present an ID and deliver my grass clippings to you, therefore from this day forward, they shall remain where they began, on the ground.
Town of Merrillville, you have signs up for no street parking after 2 inches of snow, signs up for $1,000 fine for loud noise (aren’t fireworks considered loud noise?). Can’t you put up signs on when it is legal to shoot off fireworks?
Do you know that fireworks ordinances in Crown Point are just suggestions? Just like the stop signs.
When is the collection day for lawn clippings in the city of Gary? We have had ours near the curb for the past two weeks and the bags are piling up. Please send out your services on a regular basis because we would like to maintain our lawn without too many bags cluttering our curb.
