Crown Point is starting to look trashy. Too many signs are being posted on the easement along the roads.
This Gary Public Library flip-flop is beyond ridiculous.
It is also what you call gross mismanagement or abuse of power.
Somebody with authority needs to see to it that a left turn signal is placed at 45th and Cleveland in Gary and 57th and Cleveland in Merrillville. Those two areas are the most dangerous for people making a left-hand turn.
I think it was wonderful that the city of Gary came through and sprayed all the neighborhoods for mosquitoes. Unfortunately it killed all the dragon flies.
Murders and crime in the city of Gary are at a frightening pace. The mayor and City Council are talking about having a special meeting to discuss things. Eventually. While the city continues to crash and burn.
Why does Portage keep asking its seniors to donate food items for a summer lunch program when many of us are clients of the food pantry? We need help to put food on our table and you want items we can’t afford or buy for ourselves.
