To the nice person who said it’s none of my business how many guns were bought or sold at the Crown Point gun show: What is the name of the “well regulated militia” to which you belong?

It sickens me that the caretakers for an elderly, blind woman only had to serve 16 months behind bars. They stole over $160,000 and probably much more. Their day will come and their payback will be much worse than sitting in prison.

I drove through eight states. Gas was anywhere from $2.90 to $4.75. Lowest was Oklahoma, highest was in California, where you were at the mercy of needing to get gas with no stations for 100-plus miles in either direction. It’s not supply and demand, it’s greed. Guess what the price of a McDonald’s hamburger was in all the states? If McDonalds can charge the same price, so can the gas companies.

Pet peeve: Restaurants that allow wiping the tables with the same cloth that wipes the seats.

What part of “No Parking” do those of you who use the post office in Wheeler not understand? There are two signs posted on each window that say “No Parking.” When you park a big truck or van in front, you create a dangerous situation for those who park on the side trying to get back onto Indiana 130.

Kudos to Tom Lobianco of The Associated Press for exposing Mitch Daniels for the censor he is. He lied to union supporters and signed the right-to-work law and unethically appointed himself Dictator of Purdue. I call upon the citizens of Indiana to rally, censure and remove Mitch from the progressive and productive university of astronauts before he destroys the legacy. Wake up, Hoosiers!
