Here in the Wheeler area there are farms with animals and it’s a peaceful place to live. The Sundowners club has a little park off the beaten path here and have absolutely no respect for the people who live around here and the animals we have. Not only are the fireworks a nuisance to us, the animals get spooked and run off.
How can you get the stop-and-go light fixed at 101st and Broadway?
Hammond wants to change or cancel an existing contract for handling wastewater with Griffith, Whiting and Highland. The whole idea of a contract is to protect both sides, not until one side decides they want a better deal.
I drive U.S. 30 between Merrillville and Valparaiso almost every day. The tailgating on that road is horrendous. Why is everyone in such a hurry to die? Back off people.
Crown Point police, check the intersection of Magnolia and Cleveland, this intersection is so dangerous, especially early morning and after school. And it’s the adults that are the worst not the high school kids.
