Sadly, this is the House of Representatives of the 1 percent. Plenty of farm subsides for rich farmers and no food for the less fortunate.
Leave those possums by the fairgrounds alone! They are cute animals and very beneficial because they eat insects. They are also very smart.
I vaguely remember someone once telling me that “the majority rules.” This must have applied to a far away land many years ago, because today the majority of the people are opposed to Obamacare, but that train wreck is still barreling down the tracks.
Now that Bill Daley has decided not to run for governor of Illinois, don’t the Indiana politicians that had a fundraiser for him feel real foolish? What a waste of money, or will they demand a refund?
Half of North America is practically gun-free, with strict controls of firearms. Canada does not have mass murders and daily drive-by shootings of children. Go figure.
Obamacare will continue to improve health care in this country. Kids are covered until age 26, pre-existing conditions cannot be used to deny you coverage, and insurance companies cannot overcharge us for administration costs. Things are looking up and can only get better. Thank you, Mr. President.
To all you anti-union rugged individualists: trust those benevolent princes of industry to treat and pay you fairly. When you hit 55 years of age let us know how you’re doing.
Just came back from Maine — the lobster was cheap and the roads were in great shape, with no trash along them. Back in Indiana it is very sad to drive over some pretty bad roads and to see all the trash strewn along roadways.
