How ironic that Republicans accuse Obama of lying about the Affordable Care Act when they’ve done nothing but lie about it in every conceivable way for the past three years.
Yes, atheists like to celebrate, so why not coopt a Christian celebration? What does Santa have to do with Christ? It is more of an atheist holiday anyway.
Why did it take a stranger from the state of Washington to raise the funds for a grave marker for Christian Choate? The young angel had family right here. Locals would have given without any hesitation.
It never ceases to amuse me how people who constantly complain about smoking and berate smokers can spend an entire afternoon in a casino boat and be oblivious to all the smoke around them. Guess we know where their priorities are.
Does our illustrious president really believe that we citizens lack the intelligence to select a health insurance plan that meets our individual needs and budget? He needs to realize that we are not lemmings who need to be constantly told what is best for us. This is, after all, a free country.
I am tired of seeing these armchair quarterbacks saying us truckers will not use the Illiana tollway. I’ve lost enough income on Borman backups to fund a new car. I pray for the Illiana. I will gladly pay a $20 toll from Interstate 57 to 65 and would pay another $20 when they extend it to Interstate 94 at Michigan City. Let’s get her done before I retire.
Unions don’t ship jobs overseas. I bet the truth was the union put the employer out of business and the business went to Brazil to get away from the union.
