Cedar Lake is going to have the Parade of Lights. I’m going to enter a float, dressed up like Thomas Edison holding a light bulb. I should win!
It took a series of burglaries on the north end of Merrillville to get more police cars patrolling. Hooray!
I saw the protesters holding up the yellow shame signs in two separate locations in Valpariaso. We all need to support the businesses that are noted on these yellow signs since they obviously are doing a good job in eliminating waste and corruption in their respective fields.
You don’t want the garbage trucks in Winfield? Make sure you let us know so we can steer clear of Winfield this coming summer when it’s in the 90s.
The city of Gary is considering making convenience stores and gas stations close early if they don’t have outside cameras to monitor the area. The reasoning is this will reduce crime. Maybe the next step would be to close the businesses entirely and this would reduce crime completely.
