Town of Winfield, pay attention to the fine efforts of Beverly Shores to curb light pollution. Driving though Winfield at night one needs sunglasses because of the glare from the lights. It’s supposed to be dark at night!

I guess we are fortunate in Chesterton. I was totally impressed how many of the children said thank you and trick or treat, and even more grateful that there were parents in the background, even some grandmothers. Sorry for your treat-ment!

I understand that all the taverns in Cedar Lake are going to enter a float in the upcoming Parade of Lights. One thing’s for sure — all of them will really be lit.

Way to go on having the “anonymous” tipster testify in court. Now you just guaranteed nobody in Gary will turn anybody in.

I hope the person whose neighbor was burning leaves, and was unsympathetic when he complained about the smoke blowing into his house, called the police, since we are not allowed to burn leaves in northwest Indiana!
