Please do not burn your leaves. Most municipalities have some sort of pick-up program. Better yet, mulch them up with the lawn mower. Your grass will thank you for all the nutrients. Too much to mulch, start a compost pile. By spring, there will be rich compost that you can spread on your landscaping.
Who wants to bet on when the first accident occurs in front of the Valparaiso library since the new parking took effect?
Is anyone investigating why the monthly Lake Station utility bill is out of control?
Did all those wanting growth in Porter County and Valpo really think the infrastructure would handle all the growth? Now the wells are not sufficient, the wastewater treatment facility is not sufficient, and the jail has to open a section used as a closet for 11 years. Wow, what leadership!
Thank you Mr. Niemeyer and Mr. Strong for standing against that Illiana highway. I agree that all it’s gonna do is take away private land from farmers.
