I just paid $921 today for my Medicare prescription drugs — welcome to the famous doughnut hole. I want to thank the Democrats for delaying the closing of the doughnut hole for over two years so that they could include it in Obamacare and be able to brag about it.

Union bashing is all I hear. Well, I’m here to tell you that I have been a union carpenter for 17 years. I got in right out of high school. I was a lucky one to have gone through a four-year apprenticeship that was my Harvard. I’m only 35 and now looking forward to retiring at an early age, and can do so thanks to the unions.

I agree about Halloween. It should be on the last Saturday of October. I also think schools should not return till after Labor Day like we used to! I know I could go on a another family vacation at the end of August.
