Our president got caught flat out lying to us about us being able to keep our own health insurance and instead of apologizing, he skirts the issue and talks about something else.
One hundred-two veterans employed in Lake County government were saluted Friday. How many nonveteran employees received a paid day off on Monday? Maybe they could donate one day’s pay to a veterans organization. Now, that would be a salute.
A 4-month-old girl died in a hot car. The special judge gave the 20-year-old father no jail time or fine but told him to go home and forgive himself. He faced 20 to 50 years in jail.
I did not realize how great health care was before Obamacare — Fox News keeps reminiscing about the good old days of pre-existing conditions and warm-hearted insurance companies.
Those favorably comparing Obamacare to Social Security and Medicare are sadly mistaken. Social Security and Medicare were originally trust funds to which workers and their employers contributed for future use by those who paid into it. Obamacare is more like welfare, Medicaid and Social Security Disability, whereby most recipients haven’t contributed much, if anything.
The Republican Party is ruining the educational system in this state and laughing all the way to the bank.
Wow, what a relief — I see that Gov. Rick Perry and former 1/2-Gov. Sarah Palin don’t think Chris Christie is Republican enough. I thought the GOP almost had a viable presidential candidate.
