To my AA friends: When you go out to eat, make sure you ask if there is any liquor in the food, because there is liquor in some food. I would hate for you to lose your abstinence because of that.
Halloween did not commence as a trick-or-treat holiday. It originated as a holy day, the eve of All Saints Day, thus “hallow eve” then transitioned into “halloween.” Trick-or-treating did not begin until the mid- to late 1800s. You don’t change holy days for convenience’s sake.
Democrats think only their rights count. I am a tea-party man. It’s my right to not believe in gay marriage; it’s my right to not believe in abortion; it’s my right not to believe in higher taxes. Who are you to infringe on my rights? The fact that you do makes you phonies.
If you don’t like having your monthly food stamp stipend cut, maybe consider doing odd jobs around the community. My wife and I have been doing side jobs for 30 years. Not fun but makes ends meet.
So, what was your point about Illinois approving gay marriage? How exactly does it affect you?
Some people have an understanding boss who “allows” them to send Quicklies while they work. You know, to educate others.
The ACA is not perfect by a long shot. The politicians screaming about it had plenty of time to offer an alternative. They choose to just refuse this one. Now they are angry that it is the law. Well, boohoo!
You say Obamacare is a disaster
that we will never recover from. Just how do you know that? Can you see into the future? Since you have the gift, please tell us the numbers for the next lottery drawing.
