Someone was burned up in a car in Gary, and was not discovered for a couple days. That’s insane. The feds need to step in and start using drones over the city.
I filled up my gasoline tank in Chicago today for 2 cents less than it would have cost me in Valpo. I thought Chicago gasoline taxes were supposed to be high, but Valpo must be more?
I’m 85 years old and I live in Portage. I have no problem with the garbage cans and they roll so easily.
I would like to know why we have lights out on Grant Street and Broadway where we still have a few businesses left in Gary. Those are not the places where the lights should be out.
The comment about the Gary police not responding for leaf burning calls is laughable. Gary has bigger issues than leaf-burning to occupy their officers’ time.
We didn’t have our flag up on Veterans Day because a week before someone in the night grabbed it and threw it on the driveway and shredded it. So now we need to get a new one. I can’t understand how that flag was offending anyone, but apparently was.
