Every day I pass a sign on Interstate 94 that says obesity is a disease, not a decision. Whoever said that has never eaten at an all-you-can-eat buffet. That is a decision not a disease.

To the reader looking for Christmas music on WLIT: Give us a break, please. In case you have not noticed it is not even Thanksgiving yet. Start enjoying each day for what it brings.

Looks like the best way to keep this failed policy called the ACA quiet is to bad-mouth the tea party. Just how stupid do you think your readers are? The old bait-and-switch, brought to you by the Quickly column.

Although I cannot think of one single tea party member I support, the main focus of the tea party is the elimination of wasteful government spending. Why are so many Democrats against that?

Men and their egos. That is the crux of the problem between Glenda Ritz and the sore losers in Indy. How dare a lowly woman show them up? Well, if they couldn’t beat her at the polls, they will bully her until she resigns.

The Illiana Expressway is a fantastic idea. It will save time and alleviate congestion, and create some long-term work. They need to build it now and quit wasting time.

Somebody needs to explain to Gov. Pence what “working in good faith” means. While they are at it, also explain what it means to be dictator. That definition fits a little better.

So you want to talk about Benghazi facts? Four Americans dead, 10 Americans wounded. Security warnings from the embassy were not addressed, and so far, no one has been fired!
