The president did not lie about keeping insurance plans. The insurance companies canceled plans they were supposed to upgrade to the new standards. Stop listening to Fox Fiction and you will learn something.
Gov. Pence wrote an editorial about his role in education that was downright comical. He claims there has been a misunderstanding on his sincere desire to work together. He claims politics prevents getting the job done for our kids. Really, Governor, do you own a mirror?
Our government could probably have us at full employment (or even at zero) if they really wanted. They could pass fair trade policies with tariffs and/or labor/environmental standards in them, start infrastructure rebuilding projects using infrastructure banks, secure our borders and implement employer verification programs to rid the workforce of illegal aliens and discontinue all foreign worker/guest worker programs to free up those jobs for American workers.
The comment about Reagan and the middle-class prospering was wrong. The golden era of the middle class was from the outbreak of World War II through the mid-1970s. It was downhill after that. It was Reagan’s Reaganomic policies that helped accelerate the decline of the middle class.
Too bad our domestic breweries don’t know how to make beer as good tasting as the imported beer! Or they just don’t care?
Republicans are gloating over the low numbers signed up so far for insurance under the Affordable Care Act. How many have signed up for their plan? Since their plan is for no insurance at all, the total looks like about 45 million. To their shame, they consider this a success.
