Obama is getting blamed for anything going wrong with the Affordable Care Act, but the real villains are the Republican governors and legislators who have refused to expand Medicaid — like here in Indiana — just to score political points.

Thank you to the elected leaders who passed right-to-work to keep the good-paying jobs coming to Indiana and unemployment dropping. Look one state west to see the more bleak side of life without right-to-work. Illinois losses are Indiana gains. Illinois will be the next Detroit.

To the uninformed reader questioning why Obama is traveling the country campaigning, he is raising money for fellow Democrats. As a suggestion, you just might choose to learn a bit about politics before asking such inane questions.

I don’t think the crime rate goes up because people lose their unemployment benefits. I think the crime rate is not because people are hungry. It is to support other recreational habits. Would it not be better to work a low-paying job until a better one comes along. At least you would be making a little money and maybe not be forced to crime to eat.

Society is a bad parent. Its answer to children living in poverty and having difficulty in school is to blame the teachers and the school system. They also think if enough money is thrown at the problem, it will go away.

Raise the minimum wage? Let’s do the math — a small business with just 50 employees has to pay $2 more per hour. That equals $4,000 extra payroll per week, or $208,000 per year. What do you think will happen next?
