Join march and rally to stop violence for our mothers
Motherhood is a miraculous gift from God. Full appreciation for mothers cannot be fully displayed considering their awesome motherly responsibilities.
My heart is still synchronized with the pain of the many mothers I have committed myself to comforting during their unfortunate and premature time of bereavement. The memories of their loved ones are the only connection they have left during their earthly journeys. Recognizing and thanking them for their unfortunate and premature lost is our responsibility as true people of God.
Join Concerned Citizens against Violence in Gary at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at Christ Temple Church Parking Lot, 42nd and Broadway, for our Sixth Annual Mother’s Day Stop the Violence March and Rally. The rally will be held and 34th & Jefferson at the Gleason Golf Course Parking Lot.
We will be marching in support of all mothers who lost their children to violence, and we will also be marching in unison to illustrate the love and admiration we have for the contributions moms have made, and are continuing to make.
Free food and soft drinks will be served, in addition to free Inspirational Gospel CDs for all moms.
Return transportation to Christ Temple’s parking lot will be available.
It’s not GOP backers who are delusional about the world
On Sunday, April 7, an opinion ran that is just another dose of what we have all come to expect from certain uninformed and small-minded liberals. The writer calls the GOP delusional because some watch Fox News and we were praying that Romney would win the election.
Really? Delusional? If people like that could get up off their knees from in front of their Obama altar they would understand we prayed Romney would win because he was the only the chance this country had to get rid of this imposter we have for president now.
I knew as soon as Bush was brought up again with some crazy stat about no jobs created during Bush’s term. I knew what I was dealing with. Seems I remember about 5.5% unemployment ... anyway, let’s not talk about Bush anymore. Please. He is gone and Obama was hired to fix our problems and he has made them much worse.
So anyone who listens to Fox news is uninformed? They only have better ratings than then all the other cable news shows combined so I guess there are a whole lot of us uninformed types out there. This also goes to show what many liberals are afraid of. When a voice that dares to question Obama’s policies comes around they are attacked unmercifully in the attempt to discredit and silence that voice. These days that seems to be the only thing they got but it gets very, very old.
