Congress cares more about airport lines than children
Imagine a mother with a vehicle on its last mechanical leg with two small children and a recent deceased husband, agonizing over how she will be able to keep her children in Head Start after hearing about the effects of the sequester. Visualize this mother working at a fast food restaurant just to stay afloat to survive one week to another.
The above stressful experience probably never has happened in the lives of some of the senators and House members who are even making it more difficult for a parent like the above. In my opinion, by not being able to identify with Americans with little means, many of our leaders are confused and lacking in the understanding why Head Start is so important for the future of America and the future for innocent children.
Teachers, parents and some leaders know Head Start is all about preparing children from little means for the social and academic challenges that await them. It is sad matter that some of our leaders who reinstated funds for furloughed air-traffic controllers turned a blinded eye on restoring funds for Head Start; to them, the long lines seen at airports were more of a priority than certain children’s future.

Don’t trust the government by giving it too much control
If our president gets wind of this — he might just appoint a czar to look into it! After all, the government needs more “revenue” to support the unfortunate “projects” and to monitor all the new laws, rules, regulations and who knows what!
The government of Cyprus has declared that up to 10 percent of all citizens’ savings accounts could be confiscated and paid to the government because of their shortage of funds! This was done without a law or a vote! The people’s accounts were frozen so they could not draw from them! I believe Hitler contrived something like this decades ago, and eventually confiscated their own real estate as well. The rest is history! Millions of Jews were led into the “showers” (they were told) that were actually gas chambers to murder them!
The human psyche wants to believe in their leaders but they could become vulnerable to all kinds of treachery! Trust is admirable — but when will it end?

Why isn’t Obama on top of anything that looks bad?
First we had Fast and Furious — where did all the guns go that got into Mexico? Then we had Benghazi and four dead Americans. Then we have the IRS little problem of targeting special interest groups associating with the tea party. Now the government has seized all the Associated Press’ phone numbers and yet the White House doesn’t seem to know anything about any of this.
Just asking — where is President Obama when all this is going on?
