No one trying to take
away anyone’s gun rights
Dear Mr. Ed Nemechek:
1. No one is trying to take your guns away.
2. No one is trying to destroy your Second Amendment rights.
3. No one is trying to destroy the Constitution.
4. Why do I think you are not listening?
A poem paying tribute to
our veterans’ many sacrifices
What’s the matter with veterans
They’re all heroes can’t you see
Some have fought others still fighting
To keep our country free
I salute you veterans
For what you have done
In my book all veterans are number one
Enjoying this Memorial Day
For memories are grand
You are the great heroes of our land
Whatever branch you were a part
Thanks to all veterans from the debts of my heart.
God continue to bless America.

Where was the GOP outrage during the banking crisis
All the Republicans are lined up and taking their turns at expressing outrage over the IRS scandal and the fact that conservative organizations were singled out for additional scrutiny when it came time to review them for tax exempt status. To sum it up, there were more conservative organizations than liberal being reviewed and it took longer for them to receive tax exempt status. So according to Republicans no one can trust the IRS any longer and this is just another case of big government gone bad. The Republicans say that the integrity of the IRS has been called into question.
The integrity that is really being called into question is the integrity of the entire American justice system. The Republicans are calling for jail time for those involved while ignoring the fact that not one single banker has ever been prosecuted for crippling the American economy. The IRS may have inconvenienced some political organizations but the bankers destroyed the lives of millions of people. The IRS faces jail time while the bankers are enjoying the millions in bonuses given them as a reward at tax payers expense. Every time a Republican calls for jail time ,it exposes the unfairness of the entire justice system and does nothing but rub salt in an open wound. How many thousands have been left homeless by the IRS scandal ? How many millions have been laid off by the IRS scandal? Too bad that the IRS has been downsized so many times by the Republicans. If they had the same lame excuse of being too big to prosecute, they could be sharing the same beach with the bankers.
