Thank you for Honor Flight
On August 7th this year I was privileged to be selected to go on Honor Flight from Chicago to Washington, D.C. This flight is to honor WWII Veterans, to participate in a memorial service at the World War II Memorial, and to visit other historical sights. This was a day I will never forget.
I was overwhelmed by the sincere, loving care and thanks by everyone in Washington and Chicago. The homecoming in Chicago is almost impossible to describe.
This was the 50th Honor Flight, yet there was never anything on television, radio, or newspapers
I will remember this day the rest of my life.

I cannot believe that the Executive Director of the Humane Society of the Calumet Area is moving her office to a different location . . . your job is on 45th Street.
This is equivalent to a store manager moving their office a few miles away from the store. This is outrageous. Where is the board of director’s minds to let this occur? Stop it now . . . or get a new E.D.
