President Obama and other high ranking officials were not watching the Benghazi attack “in real time” — but a single diplomatic official was listening to an audio feed. The Forbes (magazine) Oct.24, 2012 (issue) completely distorted CBS and ABC news reports. There was a video that was erroneously blamed for the attack — Innocence of Muslims, produced by N.B.Nakoula.
The following embassies were attacked during Bush 43’s term- — fatalities noted:
Calcutta (5), Karachi twice (14), Tashkent (2), Damascus (4), Sanaa’ twice (18), Jeddah (9)
Although you don’t remember these attacks they did occur on planet Earth.
What you describe as a “cover up” is called confusion in a hot civil war zone.
I can only hope the same scrutiny applied to the Benghazi tragedy will be applied to the Iraq tragedy.
President Obama could say the sky is up and most Republicans would not only disagree but would vehemently disagree.
