Unions shouldn’t bully businesses

BULLYING! It starts at the top and now reaches into Valparaiso. The Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters urges the community to boycott a local business. Why? A slick propaganda piece in the mail says the owner hired a firm to do some work that didn’t pay “standard wages and fringe benefits” (i.e., their union wasn’t hired).

Why this campaign of intimidation when the store is already built? Of course, to bully other businesses into using union labor, denying equal opportunity to future builders and their workers. What unmitigated GREED for this outside Council to pick on a small business in Valpo!

Northwest Indiana citizens must quit shooting themselves in the foot by supporting unions and corrupt Democrat politicians in Lake County. Neither encourages the growth of jobs and prosperity. They kill the Goose that should be laying Golden Eggs in our corner of the state.
