Long-time resident LPGA teaching professional Nancy Bender was honored by the Valparaiso parks department for the recent national award she garnered.
Bender was included among the Golf Range Association of America’s “Top 50 Growth of the Game Teaching Professionals.” The GRAA stated that Bender was “selected from a group of highly regarded teachers.” All winners will be listed in the January 2013 issue of Golf Range Magazine as well as on GolfRange.org.
As one of the 2012 award winners, Bender is invited to teach at GRAA Boot Camps in different regions of the country this year. She can add those duties to her already busy calendar of hosting a variety of golf camps for youths and adults at Creekside Golf Course and Training Center (2355 Clifford Road, Valparaiso).
