Tuzinski and Myers shine for Trojans
There may be new coaches and some new faces in the Chesterton program this year, but it was a few familiar gymnasts that topped the standings at Tuesday’s meet against Hobart.
Brandi Tuzinski posted top scores in beam (9.5) and floor (9.4), helping her to a first-place all-around finish with an overall score of 36.6.
Sophomore Marisa Myers returned from injury to finish second to Tuzinski in beam (9.25) and floor (9.3).

She won the diving portion with 373 points at the NCC meet.
Wilson Beckman, Munster
The freshman won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 breaststroke in a dual win over Hobart on Tuesday and won the 200 free in a dual victory over Lake Central on Thursday.
