1. chesterton
Back to the original P-T No. 1. Awesome job by the guy making the rankings.
2. Merrillville
The Pirates were off by a fumble and an INT last week against the Trojans. Round 2 likely next week.
3. Lake Central
The wounded Indians will have to muster up some offense against Portage tonight with David Yancey questionable.
4. Andrean
The 59ers proved their worth again after nipping a very good Lowell team. They get Wheeler in a revenge game.
5. Kankakee Valley
The Kougars held off Munster last week. The Brickies are a tough tournament opener.
6. Hobart
The Brickies are flying high after finishing the year 7-2. Make or break tonight in a rematch against the Kougars.
7. Crown Point
The Bulldogs won a tough one last week against Michigan City. Valparaiso won’t roll over tonight.
8. East Chicago
The Cardinals finished their best regular season since 1991 with a dominating 35-0 shut-out against Griffith. Who’d have figured that?
9. Lowell
The Red Devils are the best 5-4 team in 4A. Every loss has been against a good team and they’ve been close.
10. Hammond
The Wildcats get one more chance against East Chicago tonight. They finished the regular season at 6-2.
