P-T GIRLS top 10
1. Michigan City
The Wolves are giving up more points than anyone in the P-T Top 10 (39.8), but are scoring more than any NWI team at 78.5.
2. West Side
The Cougars get their first real test on Saturday vs. S.B. Washington.
3. Lowell
The Red Devils get their first test vs. conference foe Kankakee Valley.
4. Merrillville
Back-to-back road tests loom for the Pirates this weekend with Chesterton and Elkhart Memorial.
5. Whiting
The way the Oilers are playing, especially on defense by giving up 26 ppg., who knows when they will lose a game.
6. Portage
The win at Hobart on Tuesday was nice, but the bigger test comes on Friday vs. Michigan City.
7. LaPorte
The Slicers have two tough road games in the next week — at South Bend Clay and at Merrillville.
8. Hobart
Back-to-back losses after a 5-0 start has the Brickies dropping in the poll.
9. Hebron
A loss to Griffith in overtime was a slight hiccup to a good start, but the Hawks have to be careful at Hanover on Friday.
10. Kankakee Valley
The nice start for KV will be tested on Friday when it travels to Lowell to face the defending NCC champs.

The sophomore guard had a great shooting night on Saturday, making four 3-pointers on her way to 26 points in the Senators’ overtime victory over Covenant Christian.
