Next: Winner plays Hammond Sectional champ at Plymouth.
Tuesday — Bowman vs. River Forest, 6 p.m.; Wheeler vs. Noll, 7:30. Friday — Lake Station vs. Game 1 winner, 6; Whiting vs. Game 2 winner, 7:30. Saturday — Championship, 7.
Players to watch: BOWMAN — Justin King, Davon Dillard. RIVER FOREST — JJ Pennington; WHEELER — Kevin Barnes; NOLL — Larry Crisler, Tyreon Gates; LAKE STATION — Joe Donnelly. WHITING — Nick Filipek.
