Calumet High to host golf outing to benefit team

Calumet High School will host a scramble Friday at Turkey Creek to benefit its golf team.

The cost is $65, which includes drinks, dinner and golf.

Portage soccer camp: Youths ages 6 to 13 are invited to attend the Portage Indians Soccer Skills Camp hosted at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit (723 Long Run Road, Valparaiso). The classes will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on June 18 to 20

Portage High School soccer coach Gina Swenson and current Indians soccer players will lead the lessons. Participants are promised to have fun learning basic skill techniques such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. A pizza party will be held at the end of the camp.

The fee for the soccer camp is $5 per participant. Register at the South Haven Club now through June 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. Participants must be members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County.
