Andrean graduate Jake McCoy has been named the Greater Calumet Area Bowling Association 2012-13 scholarship award winner, earning $1,000 to help with his education.

Among McCoy’s highlights is a 4.04 four-year high school grade-point-average academically to go with first-team Post-Tribune all-area and WestLake all-conference honors. He also won sectional and regional singles titles in his high school bowling career and was a four-year letterwinner in both bowling and tennis.

McCoy will attend St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer and play tennis there. His brother, Ryan, was a GCA scholarship winner in 2011 and now attends Calumet College of St. Joseph.
